Our Part. On the One Pac Pal project, Propulsion Labs was responsible for user interface design and software development. We worked closely with Compushare, One Pac Pal’s IT provider, to ensure that the web site is safe, secure, and reliable. Compushare provides robust primary and backup database and web servers to minimize downtime.
The Challenge. The One Pac Pal Loan system was complex in the sense that there were several different types of users who needed to interact with the system.
- Employees – need emergency financial assistance
- Employers – need to verify employment of employees
- Bank Administrators – need to review loan paperwork and monitor process bottlenecks
- Foundation Administrators – similar to bank administrators, but was focused primarily around reporting activities.
The Solution. Once again, the world is safe and secure, with a technologically-advanced new online product to make emergency loans quicker and easier..
The Client. One PacificCoast Foundation (OPCF) engages in charitable and educational activities that primarily support the goals of OneCalifornia Bank, FSB. Included are programs and initiatives to help eliminate discrimination, encourage affordable housing, alleviate economic distress, stimulate community development and increase financial literacy.
The Mission. We recently developed an on-line loan origination platform and workflow management system for a new Bank product: an emergency loan for consumers offered through employers with a savings feature, called One Pac PAL (Payday Alternative Loan).
